It should be noted that the Procession of Silence, which was reinstated in 1996, begins on Holy Thursday at midnight with all the abovementioned confraternities and brotherhoods. Until 2004, these confraternities accompanied the processional statues of the Prayer in the Garden, Mother of God of the Sorrows and Our Lord Jesus of the Passion. From that year onwards, the original concept of the procession was retrieved and it only included the statue of Christ of the Immaculate Mother, carried by hand. In addition, the Creu dels Improperis (Cross of the Unworthy) takes part in the procession, as it does on Palm Sunday.
